![]() ![]() Alternatively, gnome-tweaks can also be used to edit the org/gnome/desktop/peripherals/mouse/acceleration-profile. A choice between "adaptive" and "flat" profiles can be chosen by installing dconf-editor and editing the value in org/gnome/desktop/peripherals/mouse/acceleration-profile. GNOME manages mouse acceleration by itself. There is currently no standard way to change settings across compositors. It is the compositor's job to expose the settings brought by libinput. If you are using Wayland, the events are controlled via libinput.and configuration interfaces common in desktop environments.xorg-xset and xorg-xinput which provide xset and xinput respectively. On Xorg, there are several ways of setting mouse acceleration.Setting the mouse acceleration depends on the windowing protocol you are using: either Xorg or Wayland. Each subsection should explicitly state which driver is assumed. So yeah, again.Reason: Configuration depends on the input driver, libinput can be used in Xorg. Then I posted my solution in the post because I thought i fixed it. It would be very nice if any of you know a solution to this. It is also ONLY in CS:GO, when I try a test in GMOD, it works flawlessly, NO acceleration OR reverse acceleration or whatever this weird stuff is called at all. Now when I try the excact same thing, it will not work anymore. THIS WORKED today when I did it but then I don't know what I even did or if i even did anything at all to change it back. ![]() So I had done a method where I turned off steam cloud, deleted contents of my cfg folder and verified integrity of game cache. I have recently added some of these to my autoexec, but when i found them causing it I removed them obviously. I think whats causing it is some kind of command that I changed ingame to get more FPS, maybe a mat_ command. Ive been busy with this problem for a while, and had fixed it today, but it went back to normal. ![]() But when i move my mouse across my entire mousepad in a fast motion, i do like close to a 180 degree spin. When I move my mouse slow across my entire mousepad, i can do a (estimated) 280 degree spin. Since like a week tho, I have a very weird problem. A few months back I purchased a new mouse, the steelseries rival 300. I've been playing this game for like 2 years now. Ill just post the original text with the problem here: I thought i fixed it, but it just keeps coming back. This post was about a problem regarding mouse acceleration i get in csgo. Original post: A few days ago I made this post. Verify game cache files on steam for Counter-Strike:Global offensive and start the game.Īfter i've done this, I have a clean csgo install, with no fetched cloud data or commands or settings. Open registry (regedit in run/start/search) and browse to this: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Valve\Source\csgo Delete the settings folder. Set launch options - be sure there is no space before the -autoconfig -autoconfig cl_cloud_settings 0 ![]() I have found a way to fix this problem, but it seems like when i restart my pc the problem will occur again, untill i do this:ĭelete csgo folder completely (c:/program files(86x)/steam/steamapps/common/counter strike global offensive) or a different location on ur computer. ![]()
